Video and voice

Being present in a recorded video in open and digital spaces is scary and often leaves me feeling uncomfortable. I return to the video and ask myself how I can do better, how I can speak more clearly or what I should have done differently. Being on-screen, both live and recorded makes me nervous. But the more I do it, the more comfortable I am becoming with my voice and face on video.

I have been recorded several times as a result of my Virtually Connecting experiences. My first and only time being the virtual host was nerve-wracking since I was also hosting a workshop at the same time. It turned out to be the best of both experiences. Here is my Virtually Connecting hosting debut.

Here is the blog post I wrote after this experience titled 'An Inukshuk Moment - Listen Deeply'.

Here is my test for embedding video from Vimeo.

Today we are playing with recording voices with Voki. Here is the Paper Bag Princess using her voice.
